Jamie Foxx 'Blame It' Tour

Comedian/Actor/R&B - Soul Singer and Oscar-winning, Jamie Foxx has fled fans to the box office by the mere mentioning of his national tour entitled the Jamie Foxx “Blame It” Tour; while hosting the 2009 BET Awards on Sunday June 28, 2009 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in full dedication to the undisputed King of Pop -- Michael Jackson.
It seems like just yesterday the former host of Soul Train, was cross-dressing as the big lip bandit known as Wanda on FOX’s In Living Color during the early-mid 90’s; but more evident today Jamie Foxx’s talent is divinely entertaining.
In 2004 playing the celebrated life of Ray Charles in Ray, Foxx undeniably won a plethora of new fans world-wide; not to mention the motion-picture brought his first Academy Award and a striking friendship with The Color Purple’s Sofia b.k.a. Oprah Winfrey.
Shortly thereafter in 2005 Jamie Foxx released Unpredictable on J Records shared by Alicia Keys, Mario and also headed by notorious executive Clive Davis. This album proved Foxx as a systemizer and a very concentrated musician. He expressed “numerous” times over “what women really want” on joints like “Can I Take You Home” written by Static/Major (Lollipop by Lil’ Wayne/ Try Again by Aaliyah) and produced by Über-Music Producer, Timbaland.
Also crooning like his predecessors Ginuwine and R. Kelly, Jamie Foxx knows how to bring his savvy yet witty stage presence; to get a rise out of everyone just like in his stellar medley performance at the 2006 BET Awards of “DJ Play a Love Song” showcasing his lip-locking session with American Idol Season 3-winner, Fantasia and (she’s still salivating over it).
His latest release, Intuition delivers more keen vocals fused with an obsession of auto-tunes; hence the hit-single “Blame It” featuring T-Pain which peaked #2 on The Billboard’s Hot 100 charts. On the track Jamie Foxx describes subtle pleasures when inebriated after an eventful night at the club. Musically, Jamie Foxx is still vulgar but a gentleman who can romance any woman and quite a few men – being just that good; call him Soul-Singer, Maxwell’s competition.
As the tour already kicked off earlier this month in Las Vegas, Jamie Foxx expects a non-stop party throughout the entirety of the show. Once lured to the venue, don’t expect him to throttle back. Get tickets early (pay bills later); the extraordinary Jamie Foxx takes on the Amway Arena in Orlando, FL on Sunday August 30,2009. Über-MUSIC fans this is by far the summer’s hottest ticket.
